Ostara BM45 20/40 x 100 Observation Binoculars (1 in Stock)
The Ostara BM45 Binoculars are of high quality, all-metal construction for long range
observation. The 100mm objectives give an incredibly bright image with BAK 4 prisms
and full multicoating for ultra clear and colour corrected viewing. The supplied eyepieces
give 20x and 40x magnification. Each eyepiece is focused individually for precise
observation of your subject. The eyepiece fitting is the astronomy standard 1.25” and
therefore compatible with a wide range of different eyepieces. The binoculars are
supplied with two sets of eyepieces - 28mm (giving 20x) and 14mm (giving 40x). We
can supply additional eyepieces if required.
The eyepieces are set at a 45 degree angle which makes for very comfortable viewing
when at a high angle of elevation. Each objective lens is protected from dew by an
extendible hood. A sturdy carrying handle is mounted between the tubes.
Supplied in a foam-lined aluminium storage/carrying case. This binocular is a great
choice for astronomy, coastal observation or bird watching.
These binoculars are identical to those sold under the name Helios Quantum 5.

telescopes. This gives a much sharper image.
While the telescope has a rocket-like appearance it is NOT a toy.
Setting up the telescope is so easy it has a table top base which holds it in place where ever it is
pointed. The telescope provides views the right way up so finding objects is simply a matter of
moving up-down or left-right. Focusing is by rotation of the eyepiece.
Its simplicity allows children the thrill of exploring the night sky for themselves.
