Rally Car

Helen is a great fan of rallying so we were happy to help out when approached for sponsorship earlier this year.
This family run rally team has support from a number of local businesses as the Driver - Fraser Wilson is from
Port William and Co Driver - Steven Broll is from Monreith.
At the RSAC Scottish Rally at Dumfries on 27th June they showed their abilities by taking their second Class win
of the year, the first being at the Snowman rally. With two 2nd places and only one DNF the first half of the
season has been very successful.
The second half of the season did not go quite so well. A blown engine put them out of the Elgin rally. At Newton
Stewart they had a small off in one Stage followed by a bigger off several stages later when they hit a tree
requiring a rebuild of the body work. This saw the end of their chances for winning the Class Championship. The
final rally in Perth saw the car written off when they hit a tree. Both Fraser and Steven were badly bruise and
knocked about, but no bones broken.
The rally team were featured on the BBC Scottish Rally season review programme on 25th Oct.
Scared? Not a bit of it.
Helen enjoys a taste of
rallying on Sponsors Day
at Newton Stewart.
